Net Zero Ambition
As a strategic Leader in an industry viewed by many as a contributor to environmental degradation, we at Tick Industries make concentrated efforts to create a net positive impact on the sustainability front. Despite public perceptions, we are at the forefront of sustainability goals and have made concrete advances leading to large scale, tangible results. These efforts include the push for recyclable paper in the local market and marketing brands that only use chlorine-free pulp formulated by fully renewable plantation inputs.
Being a forward thinking organization, we have targeted a net zero local ecosystem supported by our eco-friendly international partners. The idea is to limit the impact we currently have on the environment and to facilitate local transition to a lower, carbon balanced economy. Specifically, the plan aims to reduce carbon emissions from existing operations and value chain to net zero by 2040. In order to make this a reality, we are doubling down on marketing efforts supporting renewable plantation based brands, strictly maintaining internal quality control and green emission standards and partnering with socially progressive, environmentally conscious stakeholders.
